Gucci Blue NYC waterviews [Full Design] | LIC, NY

Nestled in the heart of the Upper West Side, this full home design pushed the limits with daring colors and patterns. The design started with a reimagined layout of the spaces to modernize the home and provide optimal use.  As you walk down the entry hall you're welcomed by beautiful white cranes on green Gucci wallpaper. The wallpaper framing the waterfall edge island provides the dreamiest landscape for the home's meeting point. This three seater peninsula is where the living room transitions to the newly located kitchen. It was originally located closer to the front of the house but pushed back, becoming an extension of the great room. Our client chose custom blue inlay cabinets in a transitional door style which was paired with a custom brass hood. The layout allowed for floor to ceiling cabinets complete with a coffee station. The eclectic glam penetrates throughout the house and into the living space with Parisian inspired trim work throughout the walls and ceiling. Balancing out the green wallpaper in the shared space are pink embroidered custom window treatments creating an additional surprise. The play on colors continues in the guest bath the Zellige tile accent wall. The hand placed custom herringbone pattern incorporates white, green,  gold, and many hues of pink. The accent wall detail was carried over into the shower and placed in the niche. Unlike the rest of the home, the primary bath ensuite has a serene and slightly modern aesthetic that includes a double vanity and travertine floors and walls. The shower is enveloped in vertically stacked forest green tiles, adding a New York flair to complete the home.
