Transitional Family Room | Brookville, NY
This design was inspired by the client’s love for yellow flowers. The goal was to create a space that was comfortable for everyday use yet elegant to sit next to the formal living room. A transition space between the kitchen and formal living room, it called for a mix of colorful geometrics and chrome finishes. The fireplace was updated and that gave the ability to add symmetry with two arms chairs where the old tv and console used to exist.
Client Feedback:
I am beyond impressed with the work Stevi has done in all six rooms of my house. Stevi included me in the design process by listening to my initial goals and preferences for a specific room, as well as my budget restrictions. From there she shared many fabulous suggestions and ideas regarding not only enhancing the design but offering ideas for the practicality of a given living area. Projected ideas were viewed digitally so that I could easily envision the completed work before we proceeded with a given project. Paint colors were carefully chosen with my input and her talented eye. I am proud to show off my house to my family and friends, while also enjoying the comfort afforded by the gorgeous ambience exuded in each room.
I would recommend this talented artist to anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere through the impeccable design Stevi creates in a flawless manner. She has exceeded my highest expectations!
