Bluescapes Living Room | Brookville, NY
A monochromatic and subtle living room was created in mind for entertaining friends and family as well as relaxing alone with a book and glass of wine. The inspiration was derived from Monet’s waterlilies which are also a focal point above the console. The play of marble, metals and plush fabrics is balanced perfectly as the eye moved from one corner of the room to the next. The oversized painting carries the eye upwards to the vaulted ceilings, expanding the size of the room. This living room was was last designed in the late 80s and in serious need of a complete overhaul.
