Guggenheim | Sands Point Preserve Design Showhouse

2.jpg

This showcase brings designers and architects to reinvision a 50,000-square-foot Tudor-style mansion once inhabited by Daniel and Florence Guggenheim. The room we selected was the summer living room. Re-imagining the life once lived inside these stone walls, we created a symphony of bright summer colors to bring an artistic theme, and utilized topiaries and an abundance of greenery to unify the garden with the room. Mr Guggenheim was a huge supporter of the Arts, and we thought it was only fitting to create a scene exhibiting local artists work. The Window treatments are hand dyed and the vintage armchairs are hand-painted. The dining area is enclosed by a wall of greenery and floor covered with pebbles. There was no detail overlooked as we let our imagination run wild. Credits to Samhal Design Group.

To celebrate the ending of the showhouse, there is a grand Halloween Masquerade. On this night, we had the pleasure of enjoying the beautifully designed estate in a celebratory setting to be remembered.
